The Cadence Generator CG-1 provides up to ten user-programmable cadences, each having up to two on and two off periods. Programming is achieved simply by use of the front panel selector switch, to select the program number, and a toggle switch, to count up or down, to set the period. The times are displayed on the front panel LED display, both during programming and during cadencing. The cadences can be selected to either run continuously or run just one cadence pattern. The programs are stored in battery-backed static RAM. The output is provided as both a +5v pulse, this going high to denote the cadence on period, and a pair of clean relay contacts, that open and close in sympathy with the cadence pattern. These contacts allow the cadencing of an external signal from equipment that does not have a pulse enabled output. |
